Comparative and superlative adjectives: (сравнительные и превосходные прилагательные)
For one-syllable adjectives, we add -er to form the comparative and -est to form the superlative. (для односложных прилагательных, мы добавляем –еr, чтобы образовать сравнительную степень и –est, чтобы образовать превосходную степень)
For one-syllable adjectives ending in vowel + consonant, we double the consonant. (Для односложных прилагательных оканчивающихся на гласную + согласную, мы удваиваем согласную)
With adjectives of two syllables we form the comparative with more + adjective and the superlative with most + adjective. (С прилагательными из двух слогов мы образуем сравнительную степень с more + прилагательное, а превосходную степень с most + прилагательное)

Comparative and superlative adverbs: (сравнительные и превосходные наречия)
To adverbs ending in -ly we add more + adverb to form the comparative and most + adverb to form the superlative.(к наречиям оканчивающиеся на –ly, мы добавляем more + наречие, чтобы образовать сравнительную форму, и most + наречие, чтобы образовать превосходную степень)
To adverbs that have the same form as their adjectives we add -er/-est (e.g. hard — harder -hardest).(К наречиям, у которых такая же форма, как и у их прилагательных, мы добавляем –er/-est. Например – тяжелый – тяжелее – самый тяжелый)

Irregular forms: (неправильные формы)
much/many — more — most (много – больше – самый большой)
good/well — better — best (хороший – лучше –самый лучший)
little — less – least (маленький – меньше – самый маленький)

fast → faster → fastest

Some adjectives and adverbs have irregular comparative and superlative forms:

much/many → more → most
For example:

I have more books than you.
This is the most interesting book I’ve ever read.

good/well → better → best
For example:

She sings better than anyone else.
This is the best performance I’ve seen.

little → less → least
For example:

I have less time today.
This is the least interesting option.
