For example, someone found guilty of a crime might receive a prison sentence. In some cases, property or money can be confiscated, meaning it is taken away by the government as a penalty for breaking the law.

Still, even when the situation seems tense or uncertain, characters or narrators may offer comfort by saying, “Rest assured.” This expression means, “Don’t worry, you can be completely sure.” It is used to give someone confidence and peace of mind during difficult times.
