We are sincerely grateful to you for accepting our invitation to visit our school and address our graduating students. I would like to share some important details regarding your upcoming visit.

First of all, please accept our deepest appreciation from both the school administration and the students. Everyone is truly excited to welcome such a distinguished athlete. We would be delighted if you could come on the 12th of June, as our students will be away on a school trip on the 11th and will not return until the following morning.

Let me also provide some information about the audience. You will be speaking to approximately 300 students aged between 15 and 18. They are currently preparing to leave school and making important decisions about their future careers. Many of them are passionate about sports — especially swimming in our pool, working out in the gym, and playing team games like basketball and volleyball.

We kindly ask you to share your personal experience: the impact of sport on your life, your path to success, and advice for those aiming for excellence in athletics.

Dear Mr Evans,

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the six-week summer acting course that I recently completed at Dawson Drama School. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the expectations set by your promotional materials.

To begin with, the course was advertised as being led by fully qualified and experienced instructors. However, the reality was quite different. Many of the sessions were conducted by individuals who appeared to lack proper teaching credentials, and several lessons were cancelled with little or no explanation. This gave the impression of poor organisation and a lack of professionalism from both staff and students.

In addition, your brochure described the learning environment as «relaxed and enjoyable.» In truth, the facilities were far from ideal — most studios were cold, poorly insulated, and uncomfortable to work in, which negatively affected our ability to focus during rehearsals.

As for accommodation, it was far from the “comfortable” standard mentioned in the advert. The rooms were small, unhygienic, and barely heated, making the overall experience even more disappointing.

Considering all of the above, I believe I am entitled to at least a partial refund. I would appreciate your response regarding this matter at your earliest convenience.
