My school is located in a small town, but despite that, it has a rather large scale of activities. More than a thousand students study here, and every day is carefully scheduled. We learn the main subjects, but we also have extra lessons outside the regular curriculum where we can explore topics like mathematics, foreign languages, or natural sciences in more depth.
For those who want to develop their interests further, there are optional classes — these are elective courses such as drama, robotics, or chess. I chose an ecology course because I’m interested in learning how to protect nature.
Our school also follows quite strict behavioral rules. Students are expected to be disciplined, arrive on time, and show respect to the teachers. Sometimes the rules feel a bit tough, but I understand that such regulations help create a calm and organized learning environment.
In addition, our school is a boarding school, which means it’s an educational institution with living accommodations. Some students live here all week, especially those who come from distant areas. They have bedrooms, a cafeteria, and even relaxation rooms. I live at home myself, but I became friends with a girl from another region who lives in the boarding section. She said it was strange at first, but now she really likes it.
